About Aashna Chhawchharia

Aashna has attained her graduation in Psychology Honors from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. She has completed her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London (2019) and a Diploma in Counselling Psychology (2021) from Jain University, Bangalore. As an In-house Psychotherapist at Untangle, Aashna’s primary responsibilities lie in consulting with clients with concerns like anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, burnout, career related goals, decision making, interpersonal relationships, and self- development. Prior to joining the team at Untangle, Aashna worked with a mental health organization (Kaha Mind), where she worked with high-risk adults that needed immediate and urgent intervention through de-escalation. She has also worked with Master Your Brain Private Limited, where she worked in a mulit-disciplainary environment along with a clinical psychologist. While Aashna’s primary approaches are based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Positive Psychology, she strongly believes in integrating techniques from other therapeutic schools to create a solution- focused plan that is specifically tailored for the client and their unique and individual needs.

She ensures that her practice is rights based and affirmative to the clients’ sociocultural context. She is committed to create a safe and inclusive space for individuals to explore their mental well-being. She brings in a sense of warmth, openness and genuineness to her clients during the sessions. She aims that through building strong therapeutic relationships, she can empower clients to strengthen their values and move towards their goals.
