Bindushree holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from Amity University and a BA in Psychology, Sociology, and English Literature from Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous. Having completed 1,000+ therapy hours, she has over two years of experience in the field.
After completing her Master’s, she worked in an alternative learning environment, supporting both neurotypical and neurodivergent adolescents. This experience deepened her understanding of individual learning needs and mental health support. She then joined a Bangalore-based mental health platform, where she provided one-on-one therapy to a diverse clientele, from the ages of 18-45, addressing various mental health concerns and life challenges.
Passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, she is dedicated to building a stronger sense of community around mental health. She has been involved in listening circles and initiatives aimed at building awareness about mental health, striving to create spaces where individuals can connect, share, and grow together.
Taking an eclectic approach to therapy, she blends elements from different therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. While her practice is grounded in a person-centered framework, she also integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
She has worked with clients on concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, life transitions, stress management, grief, self-esteem, identity, and emotional regulation.
Bindushree believes that a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space is essential to the therapeutic relationship. She strives to cultivate an environment rooted in trust, warmth, and understanding, empowering clients to explore their emotions and take agency in their healing process.
