Varsha holds a triple major degree in Journalism, Psychology, and English from Christ University, Bengaluru, and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, Noida. She has also completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method of Couple’s Therapy and is currently working towards certification as a Dance and Movement Therapy Facilitator. With over 1,000 hours of hands-on experience, Varsha has been practicing as a therapist for the past two years.
During her Master’s program, Varsha interned with Humanising Lives, an NGO based in Delhi, where she received training in the Existential-Humanistic approach under expert supervision. Her work there exposed her to a diverse range of therapeutic roles, including conducting support groups for women in Afghanistan and working closely with the queer community. She has experience supporting clients between the ages of 18 and 40, addressing a wide array of concerns, from anxiety and depression to trauma, relationship issues, and identity struggles.
Varsha works with clients facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, trauma, attachment issues, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and more. She takes an eclectic, process-oriented approach to therapy, drawing on principles from Existential-Humanistic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Transactional Analysis, and Trauma-Informed Care. This integrated approach allows her to tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and personal growth journey.
At the core of Varsha’s practice is the belief that every individual is unique, and therapy should be adapted to their concerns and personality. She is deeply committed to creating a safe, open, and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions without judgment. Varsha takes a holistic approach, believing that understanding the connection between mind and body is essential for healing. Through this approach, she helps clients not only process difficult emotions but also discover deeper insights into themselves, fostering a journey of self-awareness and growth.
Varsha is passionate about building trust, warmth, and a genuine connection with her clients, fostering an environment where they feel truly seen and heard. Her compassionate and client-centered approach ensures that each person can work through their challenges at their own pace, in a space of empathy and mutual respect.
